Paintings

I admire the New York color field painters, whose vibrant paintings exude a mystical resonance. For me, it’s about their courage to boldly let go of the objective context and let the painting be.

Because what if we strip away the narratives, what remains? However, figurative or narrative elements intended or not can never be entirely excluded, and in my work, that’s not a goal either. It can resemble ‘things’ like landscapes or objects.
